“Active Hope” is not a blind faith. It is instead an active process:  Start where you are, Identify what you hope for, and Take active steps in that direction.  This workshop employs the work of Joanna Macy and colleagues (The World That Reconnects) to guide and support us in figuring out how to do this. This work is designed to strengthen our capacity for resilience, and unleash our inherent passion, compassion, and creativity required to take active steps toward a brighter future.

This workshop is designed to support, inspire, and catalyse us in light of the current crises.  In addition to employing classic exercises and practices from the Work That Reconnects, we will also focus some of our time on the questions: What have we learned from this time of Covid-19? How can we take these lessons and use them as fuel as we rebuild our communities, and our social, cultural, economic and societal systems?

This workshop is open to anyone, whether you have never heard of this work, or are a veteran practitioner or facilitator.  Workshop will take place online, using Zoom.  If you are new to zoom, we are happy to familiarise you beforehand.  Workshop offered on sliding scale/donation basis.  Suggested donation is €15-20; no one turned away for lack of funds.
