Kriya Yoga: Awakening the Sacred Serpent

Kriyas (Sanskrit क्रिया) are in their essence a sacred dance of breath, movement and meditation that work to active kundalini energy, which is described as a reservoir of infinite creative energy that is coiled, like a serpent, at the base of the spine. More ancient than yoga asana (postures), kriyas can have a powerful impact on the mind, body, and spirit, one that can go very deep and can also happen very fast. These kriyas come from a place of deep meditation, where our normal sense of space and time touches on the infinite. This tradition comes from a long lineage of teachers who have passed down to us their wisdom from a lineage of Rishikesh, India, a sacred place on the banks of the Ganges at the base of the Himalayas.

Dive deep into the kriya yoga practice to experience the profound shifts in consciousness that these movements invoke. This practice is open to all levels, all students, and yoga teachers.

Qualifies as 2 CEC contact hours for Yoga Alliance certified yoga teachers.
